Appeal: Serious collision on the A17 near Boston |

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A17 near the Mill Lane junction at Boston yesterday afternoon (23 April). The collision involved a white Ford Transit, a grey Citroen C1 and a white Vauxhall Vivaro, and was reported to the Force Control Room at 4.19pm. The driver of the Ford Transit, a 34-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has since been released on bail. The male driver and passenger of the Citroen were both taken to hospital with injuries that have been described as life-threatening. Mill Lane and the A17 at Sutterton were closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident. Roads were re-opened just before 4am today (24 April).
